Here is a bit of undeniable fact that made us choke on our Cornflakes this morning, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is outdated. Okay, possibly not outdated-old, however older than the unique N64 launch was again in 2011.
Sure, the time between immediately (tenth January 2024) and the discharge of OOT 3D (sixteenth June 2011) is now sooner or later longer than the time between the N64 unique (twenty first November 1998 in Japan) and the 3DS remake. Or, as @SapphireSenatrx properly worded it on Twitter, “Ocarina of Time 3D is now as outdated as Ocarina of Time was after they made Ocarina of Time 3D”.
For these counting, there have been 4,590 days between the N64 and 3DS variations, and it has now been 4,591 days because the launch of the 3DS remake. That is 12 years and 7 months. Good grief.
If this truth means one factor, it is that we’re undoubtedly due a remake someday quickly then, proper? Okay, most likely not, although that is one thing that we requested again in December to rejoice the sport’s twenty fifth anniversary (you will discover our ideas within the article beneath).
It does beg the query, although, what remake shall be subsequent? It has equally been a bit of over 12 years since Skyward Sword’s unique launch although we have already got that one on Swap. Subsequent it might be… A Hyperlink Between Worlds. Now we’re speaking.
